Y’all need to bottle that sauce and sell it. I live out of town and I would buy it because you cannot find this exact sauce anywhere. It’s the best.

We have been travelling between Cincinnati, OH and the South Carolina coastal area for over 25 years. Based on BBQ lure and many investigations, one of the stops we began to make was at Hite's BBQ. Husband always has a cooler ready to go and even plans his drive so we can get there when they are open. We have eaten at their picnic tables but mostly pack as much as we can for family, friends, and mostly us. Recently my husband was on the trip alone and stopped for his "fix." The credit card machine was doing something crazy and we were overcharged. Upon discovery, we reached out to Hites and they immediately refunded our whole bill. That was not necessary, as we purchased products. I think they are about the nicest folks anywhere, and that's on TOP of their high quality food. Thanks you guys! We will be stopping again soon. Old establishment been cooking BBQ for as long as I can remember. Only open certain day's and for holidays. Prices are very reasonable and you get plenty of food. BBQ is really good. No dining in, all take out. Service is fast and everyone is friendly and helpful. Good place to stop and pick up something to take home when you don't feel like cooking. Restaurant is clean throughout and outside area is kept clean and neat. Everything is good!

Excellent bbq with generous portions and I love the mustard sauce and the hash. Been eating here since I was a kid in the 1980's. BBQ done right. Get there early enough for some rich and flavorful pork skins.

Stop by before closing & ordered 2 meals Togo - chicken & pork. Ordered some ribs on the side. Chicken was excellent - smoky, tender fall off bone & tasty. Hash over rice was different & very tasty. Chopped pork was ok, fresh meat & some smoke. Green beans & baked beans all good. Ribs had a bite on the bark & tender inside, sweet red sauce. They also have the mustard version. Large portions & reasonably prices. A hidden gem.
